About comparehw
Our mission
To make it quick to put any two products side by side and see exactly how they differ, from phones and laptops to monitors, TVs and headphones. Whether you're choosing your next phone or showing someone how their old one compares with the newest model, one link should be enough.
Where the figures come from
Every figure comes from the maker's own spec pages, manuals, datasheets and press releases. Where a maker doesn't publish something, we use regulatory filings or a reputable reviewer, and name them. If a figure isn't published anywhere, we show a dash rather than guess. Each product page lists its sources.

Privacy
We record the words people type into search and how many products matched, so we know what to add next. Nothing that identifies you is kept with them, and we don't use tracking cookies; the only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.
If you request a product and leave your email, we use it only to tell you when it's added, and delete it once the request is dealt with.
Saving favourites needs an account: when you sign in with Google, we keep your name, email address and favourites so they appear on all your devices. The compare list stays in your browser. Deleting your account on the account page removes all three.
