What reviewers say

Both praise high detail, dynamic range and responsive handling, finding a small sharpness advantage over the D800. Photography Blog recommends the premium for maximum resolution and finds moiré uncommon outside fine patterns. DPReview stresses optimal apertures and meticulous technique, finding the difference largely disappears when stopped down; it also criticises slow live-view autofocus and limited burst speed.
