Mercedes-Benz's large MPV (W447, revised for the 2024 model year), a van-based people carrier sold in the UK in Long and Extra Long lengths with V 220 d and V 300 d diesels, suited to large families and chauffeur use.
Reviewers agree the V-Class is enormously spacious and carries up to eight people in comfort, with a premium-feeling cabin, good infotainment and easy driving manners for its size. The common criticisms are a very high price and running costs and a diesel engine that sounds gravelly under load; Parkers still finds it van-like, with a dated interior design.
