What reviewers say

Reviewers found good multithreaded performance with comparatively low power consumption at stock settings. Lower clocks left it behind the 2700X, which bit-tech considered worth the small launch premium for most buyers. Overclocking improved performance but compromised efficiency, and Notebookcheck found the included cooler audible under load.
