What reviewers say

CHIP praises its application performance but considers the high price difficult to justify outside professional work. In Premiere Pro 2017, Puget found better live playback than the other Skylake-X models it tested, though export and preview gains over the cheaper ten- and twelve-core models were modest. More cores did not consistently make the sixteen- and eighteen-core alternatives faster.
