What reviewers say

Reviewers praise its performance in heavily threaded workstation tasks but question the price premium over Threadripper and lower-core Intel models. TechSpot found high power use when overclocked. Puget's Premiere Pro 2017 tests found the sixteen- and fourteen-core alternatives faster in several tasks, showing that the extra cores did not reliably improve that workload.
