What reviewers say

Puget found a small Premiere Pro 2019 improvement over the 7920X, mainly in exports rather than live playback. Overclockers.ru valued its specialised instructions and four-channel platform but questioned the premium for general use, finding heat limited its overclocked sample. Both favour matching the platform to specific workloads rather than treating the refresh as a broad upgrade.
