What reviewers say

Reviewers found a large improvement in processor and graphics performance, with strong battery endurance and a solid aluminium chassis. The large display made it useful as a desktop replacement, and Thunderbolt offered room for expansion. TechRadar criticised the price, slow standard hard drive and extra charge for an antiglare screen; neither reviewer could test shipping Thunderbolt peripherals at launch.
