What reviewers say

Bob Atkins and Cameralabs find useful ultra-wide coverage, fast quiet focusing and strong image quality, with softer extreme corners at wide apertures. Both praise relatively low distortion. Their vignetting findings differ; Atkins sees little obvious shading, while Cameralabs measures greater corner fall-off but finds its gentle gradient unobtrusive. Cameralabs also regards the build and ring operation as less refined than Canon L lenses.
