What reviewers say

Both reviews appreciate the compact size, stabilisation, close focusing and pleasing background blur, while noting digital correction and audible autofocus. Cameralabs finds useful corner detail on EOS R and enjoys its stills/video versatility. OpticalLimits finds softer wide-open edges on a 45-megapixel body and less distinction for general photography. Both criticise the missing weather seals and separately sold hood.
