What reviewers say

Both praise sharpness across the frame, refined controls, low aberrations and versatility for macro work and portraits. They appreciate stabilisation but note that its effectiveness falls at very close focus. Amateur Photographer finds some close-range autofocus hunting and values the limiter and manual override; Digital Camera World finds autofocus notably agile and accurate in its test. Amateur Photographer also warns that the smallest apertures soften fine detail through diffraction. Both find the build and handling suited to demanding work.
