What reviewers say

Both praise build quality and fast, quiet autofocus, with stronger detail stopped down. Photography Blog finds F2.8 softness throughout on Alpha77; OpticalLimits finds stronger wide-angle centres on adapted NEX-7 but soft longer-end corners. Photography Blog reports negligible colour fringing and pleasing blur, whereas OpticalLimits finds substantial fringing and nervous highlights; its sample also needed autofocus adjustment.
