What reviewers say

Both praise tiny size, smooth responsive power zoom and quick quiet autofocus, while noting the lack of optical stabilisation and a mechanical zoom feel for stills. Both find strong raw wide-angle barrel distortion. Digital Camera World finds very good wide-open edge sharpness; Photography Blog finds the edges improve stopped down. Both report little colour fringing.

Release detail
Sony Hong Kong specified mid-June 2022 availability. Independent full reviews were authored by Photography Blog Mark Goldstein, testing ZV-E10, and Digital Camera World Matthew Richards, whose sample images identify Alpha 7R III. Their wide-open edge-sharpness judgments differ. Sony identifies two focus linear motors; Photography Blog’s statement that the zoom ring actuates those focus motors is not adopted. Unconfirmed fluorine coating and occasional copied FE PZ 16–35 references in that review are omitted
