What reviewers say

Both praise central sharpness, construction and useful optical stabilisation. Photography Blog finds little colour fringing and very good edges on Alpha 7R; Amateur Photographer reports visible wide-angle fringing and decreasing edge detail towards 35 mm. Both note distortion and corner darkening, though Amateur Photographer finds these less troubling. Software correction helps; their edge and fringing assessments differ.
