What reviewers say
GSMArena and TechRadar praise the uninterrupted display, distinctive design, strong performance, selfie camera and fast charging. Both flag missing NFC, wireless charging and water resistance, and concerns about the moving camera section. Their unlocking experiences differ: GSMArena finds it fast and reliable, while TechRadar encounters failures with glasses and a beard, slower extension and dust collection. TechRadar also criticises ColorOS notifications and low-light photography; GSMArena generally likes the imaging but finds digital zoom unconvincing. These tests cover standard VOOC hardware, not the SuperVOOC or Lamborghini versions.
Curved 6.4-inch AMOLED, 2340 × 1080 and 19.5:9. GSMArena reports 6.42 inches for its standard unit; maker Japan brochure rounds to 6.4. Native refresh and manufacturer peak brightness are unpublished in the surviving exact documents.
Screen protection
Corning Gorilla Glass 5 front and back, GSMArena exact body test.
Display features
Notch-free Panoramic Arc Screen; maker claims 93.8% visual screen ratio. GSMArena measures DCI-P3 colour support and 426-nit white-screen maximum under its test conditions; this is not a maker peak-brightness claim.

CPU
Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, exact maker brochure and UAE launch. Standard international reviews identify Kryo 385 CPU and Adreno 630 GPU.
Memory
8 GB RAM. Standard China first-sale hardware offered 128 GB; UAE standard launch and Japanese SuperVOOC model have 256 GB. Lamborghini edition has 512 GB, confirmed by GSMArena’s contemporary China launch coverage. China’s 256 GB Super Flash Edition supports SuperVOOC; UAE standard 256 GB instead uses VOOC. Finish and regional offerings differ.
Storage type
128/256 GB standard configurations and 512 GB Lamborghini edition; no memory-card expansion, independent exact tests. SuperVOOC 256 GB is not interchangeable with standard VOOC 256 GB.

Zoom
Digital zoom only; GSMArena confirms the 2× camera toggle is a crop rather than an optical telephoto.
Video recording
Standard reviewed model records 4K30 and 1080p30 with main-camera OIS but no EIS. Slow motion up to 1080p120 or 720p240, GSMArena exact full camera test; no borrowed 4K60 or 960 fps modes.

1080p recording, GSMArena standard-model test.
Camera features
Motorised camera platform contains both rear cameras, 25 MP front camera and 3D structured-light components. Secondary 20 MP rear camera is not an ultrawide or optical telephoto; GSMArena identifies f/2.0 and 1/2.8-inch optical format, with portrait/depth and maker-described low-light processing. AI scene recognition, portrait lighting and 3D Omoji supported by maker launch.

Battery life detail
Headline standard VOOC model: 3,730 mAh sealed battery, two full independent tests. Japanese SuperVOOC variant: two 1,700 mAh cells, maker labels approximately 3,400 mAh equivalent. Maker global charging history confirms Lamborghini edition also uses a 3,400 mAh equivalent battery. Review battery results apply to standard 3,730 mAh hardware.
Wired charging
Standard VOOC: 20 W and supplied 20 W adapter, GSMArena full test. Japanese SuperVOOC and Lamborghini versions: approximately 50 W, dual-cell battery and maker 35-minute full-charge claim. These are different charging configurations; later 65 W SuperVOOC 2.0 is not fitted to this phone.
Wireless charging
No wireless charging, both exact independent tests.

Colours
Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue, exact maker UAE launch; Japanese brochure names Wine Red and Silent Blue. Lamborghini edition has a dark carbon-fibre-textured finish. The brochure explicitly says Lamborghini edition was not sold in Japan.
Water resistance detail
No maker IP rating found; both independent reviews state no water-resistance certification. No numerical IP code inferred.
Biometrics
3D structured-light face recognition with infrared camera, flood illuminator and dot projector; maker says 15,000 projected points. No fingerprint reader. Maker false-acceptance comparisons are claims, not independent security testing.

Standard GSMArena unit has 20 W charger, VOOC cable, earphones and adapter; its review box lacked the case expected in retail packages. Bundle contents vary by region/edition.
Connectivity
Mobile network
4G LTE hardware. Japanese brochure lists GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz; WCDMA bands 1/2/4/5/6/8/19; FDD-LTE 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28/29/32/66; TD-LTE 34/38/39/40/41 (2496–2690 MHz). These are Japan SuperVOOC specifications, not an assumed universal band list. Manufacturer’s later Find X 5G prototype was an engineering demonstrator, not this retail model.
