Reviewers like the compact redesign and find it a capable Alexa speaker with a spacious sound. Trusted Reviews and Engadget found the bass less full and detailed than the original Echo Studio's, while Tom's Guide found plenty of bass for the size but less definition than the Sonos Era 100; some features were not ready at launch, and Engadget found the tap controls unreliable.
