Reviewers agree it is a stylish, rugged speaker with very long battery life and balanced, clearer sound than before. Trusted Reviews found the bass less punchy than the Emberton II's, TechRadar found it harsh at high volume, and Tom's Guide heard some midrange issues; Tom's Guide and TechRadar also wanted more EQ control.
