What reviewers say

Reviewers praise its bright highlights, deep blacks for an LCD and controlled local dimming. What Hi-Fi found good height effects and dialogue clarity but limited bass, sluggish menus and less consistent cinematic colour than the BRAVIA 8 OLED; its March 2025 revision reports improved backlight behaviour. RTINGS finds strong processing but narrower viewing angles than OLED, slow game-mode transitions and higher input lag than competing sets. Its September 2026 update reports intermittent audio delay after the Android 14 update during extended playback.
