What reviewers say

What Hi-Fi? and HDTVTest both praised the 46-inch HX853's clean HD picture, deep blacks and motion control. What Hi-Fi? liked the sound from its plinth stand but criticised DVD upscaling and the extra cost of 3D glasses. HDTVTest measured 32 ms gaming lag and found its own sample had unusually even backlighting.
