What reviewers say

Both praise image quality, high-ISO performance, comfortable handling and viewfinder autofocus. Photography Blog finds a versatile upgrade but criticises the limited RAW buffer, flash sync and consumer-style controls. Digital Camera World values its metering and tracking, while finding live-view autofocus slow and phone controls limited; its later review sees strong value at reduced prices despite ageing video capabilities.
