What reviewers say

Both praise detailed images, broad dynamic range and dependable viewfinder autofocus, while criticising awkward settings banks and slow live-view focusing. Photography Blog finds subtly sharper output than the D800E and welcomes reduced shutter vibration. Photo Review sees little reason for satisfied D800 owners to upgrade and discourages buying it primarily for video, noting tracking difficulties and occasional recording glitches.
