What reviewers say

Reviewers agree the third-generation Q5 is refined, comfortable and relaxing on long journeys, particularly with air suspension, and rate the diesel. The common criticisms are interior quality below the previous Q5's and fiddly touchscreen-based controls; several found the BMW X3 more enjoyable to drive, and Autocar and Auto Express were disappointed by fuel economy or the petrol engine.
