What reviewers say
Reviewers agree the larger, vivid OLED screen, better speakers, sturdier kickstand and extra storage make it the Switch to buy for newcomers, but not worth it for existing owners. The benefits vanish when docked, with no performance upgrade or 4K output, and the screen stays at 720p; TechRadar also noted unaddressed Joy-Con durability worries.
