What reviewers say

Reviewers agree it offered excellent gaming performance for a mid-range processor, with strong single- and multi-threaded speed, good efficiency and a bundled cooler. The main complaint was a higher price than the Ryzen 5 3600 it replaced; KitGuru found the Ryzen 7 3700X a strong alternative for productivity, and PC Gamer found overclocking did little for games.
