What reviewers say

Reviews find low power consumption and useful integrated graphics for compact everyday PCs and light gaming. The Radeon 740M is substantially slower than the 8600G and 8700G, while the limited graphics-card connection makes this a less attractive processor for a later GPU upgrade. Phoronix particularly likes its efficiency in Linux compilation and CPU-based inference workloads; PCMag finds newer budget rivals stronger for general CPU performance.
