What reviewers say

Reviewers found strong rendering and workstation performance with much better single-threaded behaviour than earlier Threadrippers. PCIe 4.0 and extensive expansion bandwidth were useful for demanding workstations, while the 24-core model often offered better value than the 3970X when software could not use all its cores. The expensive new platform and substantial cooling requirements remained considerations.
