What reviewers say

Reviewers praise strong rendering and encoding performance, with gains over Intel's previous eight-core generation. Both question its value against Ryzen once motherboard and cooling costs are included, and favour cheaper mainstream processors for gaming. Tom's Hardware also found that heat limited overclocking and some workloads regressed on the new mesh design.
