What reviewers say

Reviews praise strong gaming performance and a large threaded improvement over earlier four-core Core i7 processors. Gaming gains over the Core i7-7700K are usually smaller and vary by title. Overclocking is capable but increases heat, and the requirement for a 300-series motherboard prevents a simple upgrade from older LGA1151 systems.
