The DT 1770 PRO are beyerdynamic's original closed-back Tesla studio headphones for monitoring, mixing and mastering, with 45 mm Tesla drivers at 250 ohms and two sets of ear pads, replaced by the MKII in 2024.
Reviewers agree the DT 1770 Pro sounds excellent, detailed and clear without hype, and is very well built; Headfonics found it more refined and spacious than the DT 770. Headfonia found the tuning enjoyable for music as well as studio work but better with an amplifier, and all three note it isn't cheap.
