What reviewers say

Reviewers praised the improved performance, useful FireWire and video output, and value. Macworld criticised the weight and modest standard memory. Videomaker found the Special Edition straightforward for portable DV capture and editing, but considered iMovie 2 limiting for ambitious work; both described slow video processing.
