The original XPS 13 Plus combines 12th-generation Intel P-series processors with a capacitive function row and a haptic touchpad concealed beneath its glass palm rest. It offers LCD and OLED displays, but has only two Thunderbolt 4 ports.
Both reviewers praise the OLED display, speakers and compact build, but criticise limited ports, capacitive function keys and middling battery life. The invisible touchpad proves easier to use than expected. PCWorld finds strong performance in its performance-mode tests; Tom’s Hardware reports substantially lower sustained performance in the default mode. PCWorld recommends it more enthusiastically, while Tom’s prefers alternatives with more practical controls.
13.4-inch display; FHD+ 1920 × 1200 LCD with or without touch, UHD+ 3840 × 2400 LCD touch, or 3.5K 3456 × 2160 OLED touch. All four options are 60 Hz; Dell describes the LCD panels as WVA without identifying IPS explicitly
