What reviewers say

Both reviews praise compact construction, fast autofocus, sharpness and useful stabilisation, while finding wide-open shading and roughly three stops of stabilisation in practice. The Digital Picture finds strong sharpness across the frame and accepts the launch value. Photozone finds softer corners wide open and regards the launch price and separate hood as excessive despite recommending the optical performance.
