What reviewers say

Reviewers praise the value, small size and image quality, with improved handling over the older f/1.8 II. Cameralabs finds some corner softness and vignetting at large apertures and audible, leisurely autofocus; Digital Camera World finds autofocus fast and reliable. Both consider it a useful alternative to more expensive Canon 50 mm lenses.
