What reviewers say

Both tests find useful centre sharpness and effective stabilisation, with better edges after stopping down. Wide-angle barrel distortion, colour fringing and vignetting need attention. Bob Atkins obtains mostly sharp telephoto shots with three stops of stabilisation; ePHOTOzine manages around four stops less consistently and additionally highlights susceptibility to flare. Both note that the hood costs extra.
