What reviewers say
Both reviews praise sharp images, fast quiet autofocus and useful controls, while noting distortion and edge fringing. Digital Camera World finds a capable general-purpose zoom, albeit expensive against adapted EF alternatives. OpticalLimits is more critical of wide-aperture corner shading and background blur, and its stabilisation test falls short of the maker's five-stop claim.
