What reviewers say

Both reviews value the broad zoom range, portability and effective stabilisation. Digital Camera World's launch testing with pre-production hardware finds useful detail and responsive action autofocus. Dustin Abbott finds good daylight tracking but slower low-light focusing, and declining sharpness beyond 60 mm on EOS R7. Both favour its everyday versatility while acknowledging optical compromises and the modest maximum aperture.
