What reviewers say

Both praise the distinctive background blur, strong image quality at f/0.95 and precise, long-travel focus ring. They find manual focus demanding at such shallow depth of field and regard its weight and price as limits to everyday use. Digital Camera World measured very low fringing and distortion; Camera Jabber noted wide-open shading and some raw-file fringing, while finding the control ring awkward to reach.
