What reviewers say

Both find it a sharp, light everyday zoom with useful close focusing and quick, quiet autofocus. Both like the handling and versatility but recognise its relatively high price for a DX lens. Amateur Photographer finds attractive background blur, while ePHOTOzine considers the bokeh pleasant rather than exceptional. Both note some flare when bright lights enter the frame. Amateur Photographer would prefer a physical AF/manual switch and notes that lens profiles help control distortion and shading.
