What reviewers say

Both find it a sharp, portable everyday prime with useful close-up capability and quick, quiet autofocus. Both criticise the missing hood and optical stabilisation. Amateur Photographer likes the smooth background blur, while ePHOTOzine finds busy backgrounds less smooth and warns of flare with bright lights in frame. Amateur Photographer notes slower focus in very low light and would prefer a physical AF/manual switch. Both consider its versatility good value.
