What reviewers say

Both find it a useful combination of macro and everyday standard lens, with strong sharpness, pleasing background blur, quick quiet autofocus and a small, light build. Photography Blog likes its versatility and precise manual focusing but notes the lack of optical stabilisation and simpler features than the 105mm macro. Digital Camera World also praises manual focus precision, while warning that the short working distance can disturb insects or cast shadows; its tests find good corners but weaker ones than the 105mm lens.
