What reviewers say

Both praise sharp images, fast quiet autofocus, lighter handling and useful aperture and zoom controls. Both note the high price and absent optical stabilisation. OpticalLimits finds weaker corners at 70mm and troublesome flare in demanding light; Cameralabs finds detail consistent across the range and attractive background blur.
