What reviewers say

All About Symbian and GSMArena find the larger screen, extra working memory and longer battery life meaningful improvements over the original N95. Both praise the broad feature set, improved slide and camera quality, while criticising the missing lens cover and memory-card slot. All About Symbian finds camera startup slow and the black finish slippery; GSMArena reports quicker camera operation than the original but weak LED flash and disappointing headphone audio. Battery findings remain usage-dependent: All About Symbian expects most users to finish a day, while GSMArena reports roughly 36–48 hours under its mixed test. These are contemporary production-software assessments, not claims about current service availability.

Release detail
Nokia announces first global shipments on 15 October 2007 and says retail arrival is forthcoming; this is not a confirmed first on-sale day. Release retains year precision. The maker explicitly calls original N95 its predecessor. European/Asian RM-320 is distinct from later North American variants; exact archived product/support/library destinations remain inaccessible in this source pass.

Connectivity

Mobile network
Original European/Asian N95-2/RM-320: GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA/HSDPA 2100 MHz in exact Asia datasheet. Packet-data row uses ambiguous UL/DL units (384/3.6 MB); no byte-per-second interpretation inferred. The 2009 issue-4 RM-320 guide additionally claims UMTS 900, while another EN-US mirror combines RM-320 declaration with 850/1900 bands; those inconsistencies are not treated as extra verified radio hardware.
Wi-Fi
IEEE 802.11b/g with UPnP sharing; exact issue-4 guide documents infrastructure/ad-hoc operation and WEP/WPA/802.1x security. Actual network compatibility applies.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo audio. Exact guide lists AVRCP, imaging/printing, dial-up networking, file transfer, hands-free/headset, HID, object push, SIM access and synchronisation profiles.
USB
mini-USB, USB 2.0 and mass-storage support, exact maker datasheet. Owner guide documents PC Suite, Data transfer, Image print and Media player modes. Infrared is also provided; no USB high-speed transfer figure inferred.
Positioning
Integrated GPS and A-GPS confirmed at shipping launch; Nokia Maps and optional paid navigation functions. Historical map, music, online-video and N-Gage services are not promised to operate today.
