What Hi-Fi? and AVForums praised the GX's slim wall-mounted design, OLED contrast and natural picture, and gaming features. Both noted the absence of some UK catch-up apps at launch. What Hi-Fi? considered the extra cost over the CX difficult to justify unless the wall-mounted design was a priority.
