What reviewers say

Reviewers agree it is a comfortable, fast and dependable smartwatch with detailed sleep and health tracking, though only a modest update on the Galaxy Watch 6. The common criticism is battery life of about a day; Tom's Guide found the new AI wellness features useful where The Verge thought them underwhelming, and TechRadar missed a Classic model with a rotating bezel.

Pros

  • Exynos W1000 3 nm processor and dual-frequency (L1 + L5) GPS

  • ECG, irregular heart rhythm notifications, blood pressure and sleep apnoea detection are all available in the UK

Cons

  • Up to 30 hours with the always-on display on (40 hours with it off)
  • 9.7 mm thick, against 8.6 mm for the Galaxy Watch8
  • Doesn't work with iPhones, and the ECG, blood pressure and sleep apnoea features need a Samsung Galaxy phone
