What reviewers say

Both praise image detail, colour, the viewfinder, handling and stabilisation, while recommending spare batteries. Digital Camera World finds animal recognition useful but less reliable through obstructions or with multiple subjects. Amateur Photographer finds well-configured tracking unexpectedly capable, but the 2 fps live-view burst rate limits action shooting; it also finds pixel-shift composites impractical. Digital Camera World's tested camera was final, but its accompanying 500 mm lens was pre-production.
