What reviewers say

Both praise image quality and find little incentive for D5500 owners to upgrade. Photography Blog likes the compact body and AF-P kit lens, which speeds live-view and movie focusing. Photo Review finds SnapBridge easy to set up and useful for sharing, but criticises limited direct controls and records slower bursts than specified. Both see connectivity as the main improvement.
