The estate version of BMW's eighth-generation 5 Series (G61), sold in the UK as the 520i mild hybrid and the 530e and 550e xDrive plug-in hybrids, suited to drivers who want a large executive estate; the electric version is the i5 Touring.

What reviewers say

Reviewers agree the 5 Series Touring is a refined, comfortable estate that drives as well as the saloon, with a classy, well-built interior. The common criticisms are a boot smaller than the Mercedes E-Class Estate's and costly options; Carwow missed a diesel engine, and Parkers found it very large outside yet not especially roomy in the back.
