What reviewers say

Reviewers agree the HR-V is economical and generously equipped, with a well-made interior and clever folding rear seats. The common criticisms are an engine that gets noisy when pushed, lacklustre performance outside town, a small boot and a high price; What Car? found rivals better to drive and more practical, while Parkers rated its ride and handling.
