What reviewers say
Reviewers agree the Tucson is comfortable and spacious, with a big boot, a well-made, user-friendly interior and a wide choice of engines. The common criticisms are that it isn't fun to drive, with rivals such as the Kia Sportage handling more tidily, and disappointing economy from the hybrid; Auto Express found the engines thrashy at high revs and the plug-in hybrid expensive.
