Engine or motorsConfiguration power figures are from EV Database: 235 kW (60 and 75), 245 kW (60D), 350 kW (later 75D), 311 kW (90D), 345 kW (P90D), 397 kW (P90D Ludicrous) and 451 kW (100D), converted to bhp. Its P100D power is explicitly estimated and is omitted. These represent the listed configurations during their production periods, not a single launch specification.Tesla’s Q1 2019 investor update confirms a new powertrain without increasing the existing packs’ capacity. The original Tesla announcement reproduced by Electrek describes a permanent-magnet synchronous-reluctance front motor, induction rear motor and silicon-carbide power electronics. Configuration power is from EV Database: 398 kW (Standard Range and Long Range), 580 kW (2019–20 Performance), converted to bhp; explicitly estimated later power and usable battery capacities are omitted.

Range detailThese versions use NEDC rather than WLTP. EV Database lists 249 miles (60), 254 miles (60D), 298 miles (75), 304 miles (75D), 557 km (90D), 509 km (P90D), 316 miles (P90D Ludicrous) and 393 miles (100D). No NEDC or estimated real-world range is placed in the WLTP comparison field.Configuration WLTP combined ranges are from EV Database. Auto Express reported 375 miles WLTP for its August 2019 Long Range test car; EV Database lists 388 miles for the 2019–20 configuration, so these are not treated as one immutable launch rating. Tesla’s original 370-mile US Long Range claim is EPA, not WLTP. EV Database reports a claimed Performance acceleration figure of 2.5 seconds with one-foot rollout subtracted and estimates 2.8 seconds without it; neither estimated correction nor a mixed-test figure is used as a main 0–62 field.
ChargingMaximum DC charging figures are from EV Database: 120 kW for the listed 60–90 kWh configurations and 145 kW for 100D/P100D; output varies during charging. Tesla confirms that the 2016 60 and 60D had batteries upgradeable to 75 kWh by a paid software update. Model badges are not usable battery capacities, and EV Database’s estimated usable capacities are omitted. The original Tesla announcement, reproduced by Electrek, specifies up to 200 kW on V3 and 145 kW on V2 for the upgraded range. EV Database specifically lists the software-limited Standard Range at 100 kW. Later Long Range Plus and Performance 250 kW entries are explicitly estimates in those database records and are omitted.
